‘Out of Mind’ exhibition opens in Baltimore
Things are jumping down on Saratoga Street, particularly at the “Gallery 788,” located at 218 West Saratoga Street in Baltimore. Two shows are opening at once at the popular venue.
My focus here is on the “Out of Mind” exhibition. Trust me, this has nothing to do with my current mental state! I recently met the curator for this artsy happening – Carlyn Thomas. Her work on it is part of her senior thesis at UMBC. To cut to the chase, the challenging and thought-provoking exhibition is by contemporary artists who “explore various states of mental distress by representing some associated neurotic actions or behavior.”
