World War I ‘Not the forgotten war’
On the centennial anniversary of America’s entry into the “War To End All Wars“, some wonder if subsequent conflicts have dimmed the sacrifice of the millions who died to “make the world safe for democracy”. Kenneth Clarke, President & CEO of the Pritzker Military Museum & Library in Chicago emphatically says, “No” and credits the efforts of groups like the Pritzker and the United States WWI Commission with keeping their memory alive.
