Midnight Hour
Driving along this country road
radio on low
A familiar tune plays over the air
one I use to know
So I play it back inside my mind
before I let it go
The midnight has come again
to take me to my home
oh, the midnight hour has come again
to take me to my home
City lights ahead of me
glowing in the sky
The moonlight above me
looks cloudy tonight
The headlights behind me
soon to pass me by
The midnight hour has come again
as I follow these white lines
The midnight hour has come again
as I follow these white lines
Almost there, that final turn
before I reach my home
I’ll go inside and lay around
let that candle burn
Tomorrow comes, nothing’s changed
just another day
Till the midnight hour comes again
to take me on my way
Till the midnight hour comes again
to take me on my way
