River of Life
Dedicated to Steve (Hoss) and Rob (RIP)
On the river of life, river of dreams
We keep moving on, floating downstream
Through the rough waters and whatever they bring
We keep moving on, floating downstream
Some days it rains, sometimes it pours
The river may rise, we weather the storm
Ride it out till the water recedes
We keep moving on, floating downstream
River of life keeps flowing so fast
We can’t slow down and we can’t turn back
Let the waters take you and set you free
We keep moving on, floating downstream
Darkness comes followed by night
The river still flows towards daylight
Shadows wake beneath the trees
We keep moving on, floating downstream
I lose a friend, a brother too
Somehow we got to make it through
I hear his voice just telling me
To keep moving on, floating downstream
River of life keeps flowing so fast
We can’t slow down and we can’t turn back
Let the waters take you and set you free
We keep moving on, floating downstream
On the river of life, the river of dreams
We keep moving on, floating downstream
Through the rough waters and whatever they bring
We keep moving on, floating downstream
