Why should we choose LED lights over traditional bulbs?

In the power consumption of the plant, the lighting energy consumption has a certain weight. For example, in a building of 40,000 square meters, the lighting load is about 400 KW. Therefore, in choosing factory lighting, saving energy, and protecting the environment is an important question for factory designers. In addition to energy-saving and environmental protection, the luminaire based on the new LED light source has the advantages of long service life, fast response time, and concentrated light and light. In recent years, it has gained wide acceptance among consumers.
Power selection
Traditional mining and industrial lamps are mainly 250W or 400W high-pressure sodium lamps and metal halide lamps compared with new 4ft LED shop lights lamps’ characteristics.
There are more obvious differences:
Considering the high-pressure sodium lamp and metal halide light in the actual use and the problem of secondary light emission, the actual luminous efficiency is much less than 80lm / W, and it often cannot reach the nominal 70%. According to this, the LED high bay lighting power that we first developed is set to around 120W.
Once the lighting effect is as expected, it saves more than 50% energy than traditional lamps.
Selecting the light source
At present, the best-known brands of high-power LED light sources on the market are: CREE, OSRAM, NICHIA, Lumileds (the first LED), Taiwanese crystal manufacturers, Addison, and Shenzhen home packaging manufacturers. Wanrun, Zhuhai Ruifeng, Jiangxi Lianchuang, and so on are also the brands that have been applied in the past..
Selecting the LED driver
The LED driver is simply a circuit that provides normal working conditions (including voltage, current, etc.) for the LEDs. It is also an essential condition for the operation of LEDs. A good driver circuit can also protect the LEDs at all times. After all, LEDs are the core of the entire product.
LED driver circuits are generally divided into three types:
(1) Resistive current limiting dimmer: It is easy to connect the resistors in the LED loop. By adjusting the resistance of the resistor, the driving current of the LED can be changed.
(2) Constant current drive: keep the LED current constant, let the LED work under constant current condition. To improve the LED’s efficiency and stability, please reduce the brightness of the LED; constant current drive is the best choice; high-power LEDs work with a constant current.
(3) Constant voltage control: keep the voltage at both ends of the LED constant, because the voltage of each color LED is different, so the LED light is rarely supplied with constant voltage.

Let’s do a simple calculation to compare the efficiency and savings of different bulbs. Let’s assume we have a 100-watt incandescent light bulb, to simplify the math, and one kWh of power costs 15 cents.
Could you not throw them away? You should always recycle your bulbs, partly for safety reasons – bulbs contain mercury vapor that could be released into the atmosphere and drip off if the bulb breaks in a landfill, and partly for greater efficiency. Some parts of the bulb can be reused. Gather your bulbs carefully and take them to your local hazardous waste center.
LED heat sink thermal design
In high power LEDs, heat dissipation is a big problem. If no heat dissipation action is taken, the high-power LED’s core temperature will rise rapidly when its junction temperature (TJ). When the temperature exceeds the maximum allowable temperature (generally 150 ° C), the high-power LEDs can be damaged by overheating. Therefore, the design of heat dissipation is also our most important content. Next, we combine the aluminum substrate and the heat sink to discuss the heat dissipation design.
