Trading Safety for Survival: Violence against Baltimore women in the sex trade
Investigative reporter Stephen Janis was one of the panelists Wednesday at a forum on “Violence Against Women” at the Village Learning Center in Baltimore.
Janis is the co-author of “Why Do We Kill?: The Pathology of Murder in Baltimore.”
He also was the co-publisher of defunct “Investigative Voice,” an online investigative website covering mostly crime. He formerly wrote for the Baltimore Examiner, and also penned two books of fiction. Janis is a producer at WBFF Fox 45 and teaches journalism at Towson University.
